Prevent yeast infection with a probiotic yogurt

We already know that yogurt containing live probiotics are useful for digestive health, but did you know that yogurt is also useful to prevent an infection that may be spelled almost always occurs in women, namely yeast vaginitis or yeast infections?

What is yeast infection? Yeast infection in brief is an infection caused by fungi of the Candida species that occur in a woman's vaginal area. The strange thing is to eat yogurt that contains live lactobacillus bacteria which means it will go into our digestive tract, turns in a study found that the more turns lactobacillus bacteria in our digestive tract, the more the lactobacillus bacteria in the vagina as well. Although the process is not known for certain, but it seems these bacteria also migrate to other areas of the body and does not live in the gut alone.

To view the absence of effective or yogurt to prevent yeast infection do a study conducted with 13 respondents for a period of one year, for 6 months where the respondents were given yogurt with lactobacillus acidophilus, and 6 months without the yogurt. It was found that in the period in which the respondents consume yogurt regularly the case of yeast infection decreased as much as 3 times of the period in which the yogurt is not consumed.

Consumption of yogurt with probiotics regularly turns out to not only add to the existing microflora in our intestines and help digestion, but also helps prevent yeast infection that does not relate directly to the intestines.

So…. One more good reason to consume your yogurt!
